The renovation of existing buildings always poses a few challenges, requires careful planning and co-ordination of trades as well as flexibility to adapt to unforeseen site conditions. The construction of this 5 star hotel bar was no exception and is testament to the abilities of the Project Design International team, in collaboration with Southern Hospitality.

 

The F&B (Food and Beverage) scope of works consisted of:

• refitting four existing kitchens over two levels

• installation of two new kitchens

• two new buffets and two bars over three levels

• repair and upgrade of the existing refrigeration systems.

The scope and complexity of this project required careful scheduling, allocation of resources and co-ordination with the main contractor and associated sub-trades.
